The future of Lautaro Martínez with Inter Milan is in doubt, as the Argentine striker has been linked with a possible departure at the end of the season. According to transfer reports, the Italian club is under financial pressure and will need to sell players to balance their books, which has sparked interest from clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United.
Martínez, 25 years old, had an impressive performance last season, scoring 28 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions. He also played a part in the Argentina National Team that won the World Cup in late 2022 and contributed to Inter Milan's historic run to the Champions League final.
At this stage of his career, Martínez is at his peak, and the opportunity to showcase his talent in the Premier League is particularly appealing. Arsenal, who competed for the league title last season, is looking to strengthen their attack and sees Martínez as a quality acquisition.
On the other hand, Manchester United needs to bolster their squad and provide greater support to Marcus Rashford, who shouldered much of the offensive responsibility last season. If the Red Devils aspire to compete for major trophies, they will need to improve the quality of the team, and Martínez presents an attractive option.
Arsenal will be participating in the upcoming edition of the Champions League and will require a stronger and deeper squad to handle the increased number of matches. Martínez, with his versatility and quality as a complete forward, could add a new dimension to the attacking prowess of the London-based team.
