Luis Suarez was a part of the Uruguay team that eliminated Brazil, yet he gave some advice to the Brazilian national team to see his former Barcelona teammate Neymar succeed and win the World Cup like how Lionel Messi won it with Argentina in the 2022 World Cup. Suarez said, "If Brazil wants to be the World Champion in 2026, they must do like Argentina with Lionel Messi, bring in ten players who will play for Neymar Jr. only.” Neymar will likely play in the 2026 World Cup and it could be his last one with Brazil.

Dorival Junior, the head coach of the Brazilian national team, hopes that Neymar will return but knows about the bad injury he suffered.
