I never spoke to him and I hope I can talk to him someday. The truth is, I wasn't even aware at the time that I was with Messi. Yamal was inspired by the Argentine legend, but he does not want to be compared to Messi since he recognizes that the Barcelona legend is one of a kind. Yamal said, "I don't think anyone would be bothered by being compared to the best player in history, but in the end, it diminishes your value because you'll never be like him."
