Ronaldo Nazario is a legend who said that Vinicius does not offer as much as Neymar did in the past, and some believe that Ronaldo does not believe in the winger. A Brazilian legend who does believe in Vinicius is Kaka. The former Ballon d'Or winner talks highly about Vinicius and thinks that he will potentially win a Ballon d'Or that he deserves and could be the face Brazil needs to win major tournaments.

Kaka said, "Vini is coming in this direction [to win a Ballon d'Or]. He was the main protagonist of a collective achievement this year for Real Madrid in the Champions League.
