Ramos fulfilled his dream of returning to Sevilla, but fans hate him and did this

After more than two months of being a free agent and deciding where he was going to play next season, Sergio Ramos received the most awaited call and quickly accepted to join Sevilla for a year. The side's chiefs had assured on more than one occasion that they had no interest in signing him, but the poor results they obtained at the beginning of La Liga and the low level of the team's defenders made them change their mind.

This Monday Ramos was officially announced as Sevilla's new player and sent a message to the fans trying to leave behind the bad relationship they have had in recent years, while he played for Real Madrid: "I have made mistakes and I want to take this opportunity to apologize in the first person and ask forgiveness to any sevillista who has felt offended by things and gestures I may have done at the time".

However, this was not enough to calm the anger of some fans, who did not hesitate to express their discontent with the defender's arrival. Biris Norte are a group of Sevilla fans and published a very harsh message against Ramos: "As an ultra group of Sevilla FC for almost 50 years, we want to express our rejection to those who proposed this signing", begins the statement.

They then explain why they oppose the signing of the defender: "We believe that the mere proposal of this signing was already a lack of respect to the values that have made us great, to the symbols and legends that have defended our shield, and to the thousands of Sevillistas who have suffered the scorn of this player in the past".

Ramos is not the only one targeted

Biris Norte also blame the club's chiefs who decided to sign the player: "We think that this signing benefits more the interests of some directors who neither understand, nor understand what makes Sevilla FC great and who only look after their personal and/or economic interests. We are not their choir and we will always be at the side of Sevilla FC, but not of those who tarnish it with their decisions".
