Sergio Ramos will officially be a free agent this summer after Sevilla confirms that they will not extend his contract to stay for another season. The Spanish defender is 38 years old, but he does not plan to retire from football. Ramos was rumored to join the MLS and play for Inter Miami, who is one of the teams that are interested in signing him this summer. David Beckham wants Ramos to reunite with Lionel Messi, but things could change as the defender could be heading to Saudi Arabia now. Diario AS reports that Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernando Hierro are working on convincing Sergio Ramos to join them at Al Nassr. The Saudi club could offer him a great salary compared to what he earned in Sevilla, and the defender could be convinced to reunite with Ronaldo, who was his teammate for many successful years at Real Madrid.

Ronaldo played a total of 340 matches with Sergio Ramos at Real Madrid. The two combined for 15 goals during their time together at Real Madrid. They played together from 2009 to 2018. They won multiple trophies together, including the Champions League, FIFA Club World Cups, La Liga, and many more.
Ramos and Lionel Messi played 45 matches together at PSG for only two seasons. He participated in two goals together from 2021 to 2023. They both arrived in the 2021 summer transfer window, and they both left the French club last summer; Messi went to Inter Miami, and Ramos returned to Sevilla. The two players won the Ligue 1 title on two occasions, but they failed in the Champions League by not reaching the quarterfinals for two years in a row.

Ramos played a total of 37 matches with Sevilla across all competitions, which includes La Liga, the Champions League, and the Copa Del Rey. He scored a total of seven goals with Sevilla this past season and provided one assist. He scored three goals in La Liga and scored two in the Champions League.
