Harry Kane, the Tottenham forward, longs to win collective titles as he has only accumulated individual accolades so far, such as being the Premier League's top scorer. With this desire in mind, Kane is reportedly seeking a departure from the club, although Spurs are unwilling to let him go to just any destination.
A few weeks ago, it was known that the Tottenham chairman was reluctant to sell him to Premier League rivals, which puts Real Madrid as the favorite in this situation. However, the English club has set a price of over 100 million EUR for the transfer. According to the Daily Mail, Real Madrid is considering an offer of 93 million euros plus add-ons.
Since the price remains high, the plan of Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, is to explore various options to reduce it. Considering that they are already close to paying over 100 million EUR for the signing of Jude Bellingham, the club plans to include players in the negotiation to make it more viable.
Real Madrid is actively seeking to strengthen their squad and views Harry Kane as a key addition to their forward line. While the initially established price is high, negotiations could progress if players are included in the deal.
According to Cadena SER, Ferland Mendy would be the chosen player to be part of the exchange. It's worth mentioning that Mendy spent a large part of the season injured, and the return of Fran García from his loan provides another option at left-back.
