The Premier League season came to an end with an exciting and surprising outcome. Manchester City once again clinched the title after Arsenal lost to Nottingham Forest, securing their fifth league title. However, there were many other intriguing stories that unfolded on the table.
One of the great revelations was Brighton, who managed to stay in the top flight of English football. On the other hand, Aston Villa, led by Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, secured a place in the Conference League. But the biggest surprise was Newcastle, who exceeded all expectations by finishing fourth and qualifying for the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Manchester United staged an impressive comeback and finished in third place, although far from the title race. After their elimination in the Europa League against Sevilla, coach Erik ten Hag is determined to secure a spot in the next edition of the Champions League and is evaluating the addition of new talents to strengthen his squad.
One of the names that has been making waves in recent days is Neymar, currently playing for Paris Saint-Germain. Despite a promising start in France, the Brazilian has not had a good time recently, and his compatriot Casemiro has invited him to join Ten Hag's team. Although no moves have been finalized in the transfer market, the possibility of seeing Neymar in the Premier League is an option that is being seriously considered.
For Neymar to join the English club, there are several options. One is a permanent transfer, but considering the player's price, it appears challenging for United to absorb that expense. Therefore, he could arrive on loan, where the English club would have to cover his salary, which amounts to 3.6 million EUR per month.
