Harry Kane is one of the Premier League's prominent figures, particularly for his team, Tottenham. Although he has a contract with the club until 2024, Tottenham's failure to qualify for any European competitions could lead to the striker not renewing his contract and potentially leaving this summer.
Several media outlets have linked Harry Kane to La Liga, specifically to Real Madrid. Initially, there were speculations about him forming a partnership with Karim Benzema. Now, with Benzema's potential departure from the team, Kane is being positioned as the forward who would fill his place at Real Madrid.
According to the British newspaper The Sun, Tottenham's management would be willing to let Harry Kane leave and sell him, as long as it is to a foreign team. They do not want another Premier League club to have their star striker.
However, Harry Kane desires to remain in the Premier League, and his preferred destination is Manchester United. Other clubs like Liverpool or Newcastle are unlikely to meet Tottenham's asking price for Kane, while Chelsea, willing to pay the 100 EUR million, also lacks European competitions.
The reason Kane doesn't want to move to a foreign team and wishes to stay in the Premier League is because he is only 48 goals away from breaking Alan Shearer's record of 260 goals, making him the league's all-time top scorer. Kane's goal is to become the Premier League's leading goal scorer in history.
