According to information provided by Ekrem Konur, both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have shown interest in the young Argentine forward from Manchester City, Julián Álvarez.
Álvarez's standout performances in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he even displaced Lautaro Martínez, combined with his impressive displays at Manchester City, have caught the attention of two European football giants.
Bayern Munich, who have not signed another forward since Robert Lewandowski's departure to Barcelona, and Real Madrid, who currently lack a backup for Karim Benzema, recently departed to join the Saudi Arabian league, see Álvarez as an attractive option.
Although Álvarez renewed his contract with Manchester City in March, the possibility of his future being away from the Etihad Stadium is not ruled out. The lack of minutes in the decisive stages of the Champions League has raised uncertainty about his continuity at the club, and the presence of teams like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich closely monitoring him further fuels speculation.
With all the information that has been circulating, after winning the Champions League, the Argentine forward was questioned about his future, to which he responded that he would join the Argentine national team, then take a rest, and only after that, he would see what happens, leaving his continuity with Manchester City uncertain.
