After winning the Champions League, Guardiola confirms his destination

Spanish coach Pep Guardiola is leaving a historic legacy at Manchester City, and his recent conquest of the Champions League has reaffirmed his status as an unforgettable manager for the club's fans.

In an interview with Catalunya Radio, Guardiola spoke about the years he has left at City and made it clear that he has no intention of following the same path as the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

"I won't be the Ferguson of City, staying 25-28 years, no. There in England, it's a football match, during the week you don't see a journalist, the day-to-day is calmer, more relaxed. I also have a life, and here in Spain, everything is more intense," expressed the coach.

These statements suggest that Guardiola doesn't plan on continuing at Manchester City for many more years. Although he has a contract with the English club until 2025, it's possible that after that period, he may decide to seek new challenges or even return to his beloved club, FC Barcelona.

He doesn't pay attention

During the interview, Guardiola also mentioned the criticism he has received from Spain but made it clear that he doesn't pay much attention to it: “I'm not really focused on it, especially being in Manchester. If you don't want anyone to say anything, go work as a bricklayer like my father.”
