What will he do?

Jose Mourinho is one of the most successful coaches of this century. He has managed several of the most important clubs in Europe and with many of them he obtained excellent results. In fact, he was champion with Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid, Manchester United and AS Roma, in addition to having worked in other giants such as Barcelona and Tottenham.

However, sometimes things don't work out. He led AS Roma to the 2021/22 Conference League title and the following year reached the final of the UEFA Europa League, which they lost in a penalty shoot-out to Sevilla. Since then the team's performances have been increasingly disappointing and the patience of the chiefs and the fans ran out. So last week he was surprisingly sacked and replaced by club legend Daniele De Rossi.

Immediately after leaving the Italian side, 'Mou' received a multi-million dollar offer from Saudi Arabia. Al-Shabab are interested in hiring him to improve their performances in the Pro League, where they are 11th in the standings with only 5 wins in 19 matches. In the squad they have stars such as Yannick Carrasco, Ever Banega and Romain Saiss.

However, reports indicate that he rejected that offer because his intention is to stay in Europe. And his destination could be the Premier League again. According to The Sun, Newcastle are one of the options, considering that the poor results have put coach Eddie Howe in a difficult situation. Another alternative is the Brazil National Team, who last week fired Fernando Diniz and received a negative response from Carlo Ancelotti.

He knows the Premier League well

José Mourinho has had very successful experiences in England. There he managed Chelsea between 2004 and 2008 and then again between 2013 and 2015, winning 8 titles (including 3 Premier Leagues). Then he was hired by Manchester United, where he was UEFA Europa League champion in 2017. And his last club there was Tottenham, where things didn't go so well: he was sacked before completing his second season there.
