Man Utd and Liverpool celebrate, Man City and Chelsea don't: these are the next FA Cup games

Manchester United beat Wigan Athletic 2-0 at the DW Stadium on Monday to qualify for the FA Cup round of 32. It was a key victory for Erik Ten Hag's team, who after the eliminations in the Carabao Cup and Champions League, and the poor performance in the Premier League, point to the FA Cup as their last chance to win a title this season.

The Red Devils are one of the English giants that achieved their goal of advancing to the next round. The others to do so were Liverpool (who beat Arsenal at Emirates Stadium in the best game of the round of 64), Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea. In addition, other good Premier League teams also made it, such as Aston Villa, Newcastle and Brighton & Hove Albion.

According to The Sun, the FA Cup round of 64 replays will be played between January 25 and 29, so the next phase will only be played the following month. Before that, English teams will have several important Premier League matches, and some like Liverpool and Chelsea will play the Carabao Cup semifinals before that as well.
