Klopp's departure unleashes chaos at Liverpool: star has doubts about his future

Last week the soccer world was shocked by Jurgen Klopp's announcement. He recorded a video that was shared on social media where he explained that he no longer believes he has the energy to plan a new year at Liverpool and that is why he decided to end his successful 9-year cycle at the English side at the end of the current season.

This news was completely unexpected, considering that he had a contract with the Reds until June 30, 2026 and that the team's results and performances this season have been excellent. But apparently Klopp's departure may bring other unexpected problems: some important players of the squad could leave with him. The Dutch defender undoubtedly wants to wait until the end of the season and find out who the new coach will be before deciding what he will do next season.

According to The Sun, the main favorite to replace Klopp is Xabi Alonso, former player of the club and current coach of Bayer Leverkusen. But there are also other alternatives, such as Brighton & Hove Albion's Roberto De Zerbi and Tottenham's Ange Postecoglou.
