Discussions between Manchester United and Granada have been ongoing for several days, and an official announcement is expected either tonight or tomorrow. El País views this potential move as positive news for Uruguayan national team manager Marcelo Bielsa, as Pellistri is anticipated to secure more playing time at Granada than he has at Manchester United.

Pellistri's playing opportunities under manager Erik ten Hag at Manchester United have been limited, amazing only 366 minutes on the pitch this season. In 14 appearances, he managed just one assist and no goals. This impending transfer marks the third time Manchester United has loaned out Pellistri, following two consecutive spells at Spanish side Alavés.
