For weeks now, newspapers, TV shows and social media have been focused on every new rumor about Kylian Mbappé's future. He will leave Paris Saint-Germain once the current season ends and his destination seems to be in Spain. Last week Marca newspaper assured that there was already a signed agreement between the player and Real Madrid, but apparently negotiations still continue regarding his salary, bonuses and image rights.

Ancelotti had forgotten about Modric, but he proved he is key for Real Madrid

Once the parties reach an agreement, Carlo Ancelotti will have solved one of his main problems. Since the departure of Karim Benzema to Al-Ittihad, the coach has had to look for alternatives to replace him, as he has no other centre-forward of that level in the squad. Although it is not his most usual position, 'Kiki' can take that place and that seems to be the idea for next season.

But that's not the only sector of the field where the Italian coach is unhappy with his options. Left-back has also been a problem since Marcelo left. Currently Ferland Mendy and Francisco Garcia are competing for a place, but neither of them have shown excellent performances and that is why the Spanish side are looking for a star there.

Alphonso Davies is the chosen one, as he has all the characteristics that Los Merengues like: he is young (just 23 years old) but experienced, very talented and considered a top star. And that's not all. His situation at Bayern Munich is also conducive to negotiate a transfer, as he has a contract there until June 30, 2025 and has not yet agreed the renewal. So, the German side will have no choice but to negotiate if they do not want to lose him as a free agent next year.

How much is he worth?

According to Marca, Bayern Munich chiefs have already accepted that Alphonso Davies will not renew his contract and therefore have to sell him this summer. Although his value, according to Transfermarkt, is $75 million, the Bavarian side will ask for a lower amount: just over $50 million.
