Cristiano wants to shine again this year.

Al-Nassr played their last game in 2023 last Saturday, when they beat Al-Taawon 4-1 on matchday 19 of the Pro League. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the last of the goals in that victory, which allowed Luis Castro's team to stay in second place in the tournament standings with 46 points, 7 points behind leaders Al-Hilal.

Since then, the players have been on vacation. They will have almost a month of rest until the return to training, which will be during the last days of January. The first match they will play in 2024 will be a friendly: for the Riyadh Season Cup, they will face Inter Miami on February 1.

This duel will capture the attention of fans around the world, as it may be the last time Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will face each other as professional players. And it will be the second time in a row that Leo will participate in this tournament, considering that he played for Paris Saint-Germain in 2023, against a team formed by Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal stars, among which was CR7.

Official competitions will start for Al-Nassr a few days later: on February 12 they will play against Al Feiha in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Asian Champions League. And a week later they will play the second leg. Between these two matches, the Pro League will resume with the game against Al-Fateh on February 14. During the following weeks they will have several more matches in the Saudi Arabian league. In addition, they are also qualified for the semifinals of the King's Cup.

Cristiano wants to win it all

That won't be all for CR7. He also has a very important goal with the Portugal national team: the Euro 2024 to be held in Germany next summer. Roberto Martinez's team are one of the favorites to win the title, as they have many top players and have shown excellent performances during the qualifiers. In fact, they are the only team to have won all the matches they played.
