Argentina and Chile have a heated rivalry that brewed up in the last decade, especially after the Copa America in 2015 and in 2016. Chile won two consecutive Copa Americas over Argentina in the final, which almost led to Lionel Messi's full retirement from the Argentina national team. Messi did not give up and ended up winning the Copa America in 2021 and the World Cup in 2022. Now Argentina got their revenge against Chile by beating them 1-0 at the MetLife Stadium last night in Group A, and Emiliano 'Dibu' Martinez made sure to annoy the Chilean fans at the stadium. A video online shows the celebration of Martinez when Argentina scored late in the match. The majority of the stadium had Argentina fans, but behind Martinez's goal was a big crowd of Chilean fans. Martinez celebrated the goal and turned to the Chilean fans to celebrate in front of them, which led to him receiving lots of insults from them. Martinez is known to be provocative towards the fans. He managed to provoke a set of fans once again.
It was a great day for Dibu Martinez, not only because of Argentina's win but because of his record with the Argentina national team. Martinez has kept 30 clean sheets in 41 matches with the Argentina national team. He also won more titles (3) than he lost (2) with Argentina. These three trophies are the Copa America 2021, the Finalissima 2022, and the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Argentina are top of the Group A of Copa America and are advancing to the knockout stages of the tournament. Chile, on the other hand, is last in their group with one point after drawing 0-0 against Peru in their first match of the group stage. Chile will need a win against Canada to have a chance at advancing to the quarterfinals of Copa America.

Argentina has played two matches so far in the Copa America. They will be playing against Peru this weekend in their last group-stage match of the tournament. Changes are expected in the starting lineup for the match against Peru.
