The Brazilian national team has been under pressure these past few weeks due to the Copa America. Brazil is expected to perform at every major tournament they compete in because they are the country that has won the most World Cups out of any nation in the world. The current Brazilian national team has been criticized by the fans, and the Copa America so far has been unconvincing. One of the greatest Brazilian football legends, Ronaldo Nazario, spoke about Vinicius Jr., arguably the biggest star in the Brazil team at the moment, but it was not praise towards the player. Ronaldo made a comparison with Vinicius to Neymar and mentioned why the team is lacking something that Brazil used to have. Ronaldo said, "Vinicius is not Joga Bonito. (Laughs) Sorry, the last Joga Bonito is Neymar Jr. Vinicius is a great player, but he doesn't represent the type of game that distinguishes Brazil. The people who watch Brazil expect to see a player with magic and happiness that separate us [from the rest]."

Another legend from Brazil that compared Vinicius Jr. to Neymar is Romario. The former FC Barcelona striker said, "Vinicius is not the player we say can help Brazil and be the champion of the national team. The last player to do that was Neymar Jr." The Real Madrid star scored two goals in the Copa America competition so far, and it was a brace against Paraguay in a 4-1 win.

Ronaldo Nazario made some controversial comments that made some fans suggest that he doesn't enjoy watching the current Brazilian national team at Copa America. The Brazilian legend says he doesn't enjoy watching football anymore and said, "I think I love more tennis now than football. I cannot watch football matches. I think it's too boring. I can stay for 5 hours watching tennis."

Brazil's match at the Copa America

After finishing second in their group, they now have to face Uruguay in the quarterfinals of Copa America. Uruguay won all three of the matches in their group. Brazil drew two matches in their group and won one game. Vinicius Jr. is suspended for the match, and Endrick is likely to start.
