Real Madrid's Arda Guler is one of the most exciting young players in the world, and he has made his mark on the Turkish national team in EURO 2024. Guler scored a screamer in Turkey's 3-1 win over Georgia. Guler's goal was important not only for Turkey but also for himself as he beat the record that Cristiano Ronaldo held for 20 years. Opta Joe reports that Arda Guler is now the youngest player to score on his debut at the Euros (19 years & 114 days), beating Cristiano Ronaldo's previous record of 19 years & 128 days set in EURO 2004.

Guler won the Man of the Match award after his impressive goal in the match for Turkey. He played 79 minutes in the match, and he created four chances in the game. He had 59 touches of the ball and had a 93% pass accuracy.
