For months one of the most talked about topics in newspapers, TV shows and social media is the future of Kylian Mbappé. He is under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 30 this year and no one knows what he wants to do once the season ends. In several interviews and press conferences he has been asked about this topic, but he always answers that he has not yet made a decision.

His options appear to be three. The first is to stay in France, for which he could activate the automatic extension clause of his contract until 2025 or accept the four-year renewal offer, with a salary that could be up to $100 million per season.

The other alternatives are outside his home country. One is in Spain: Real Madrid have been interested in signing him for years (in fact they were very close to doing so in 2022) and they currently need a top striker to fill the place left by Karim Benzema with his departure to Saudi Arabia. And the last option is the Premier League, which has the attraction of being one of the best tournaments in the world, where Liverpool seem to be the favorites.

However, it seems that 'Kiki' has already made up his mind. According to OK Diario, he has told PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi that he has no intention of staying at the club once the season ends. That means he will leave France next summer, although it is not yet clear what his destination will be. His mother and agent, Fayza Lamari, assured a few weeks ago that they will first analyze all the offers they receive and then make a decision.

PSG will not be left empty-handed

If OK Diario's information is confirmed, Kylian Mbappé will leave Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent. This means that the club will not receive a cent for his transfer. But they will not be left empty-handed. According to reports, the striker agreed with Nasser Al-Khelaifi that if he leaves under these conditions he will waive the 'loyalty bonus' that the club were due to pay him this year, worth almost $100 million.
