Paris Saint-Germain had a hectic week. On Wednesday they beat Real Sociedad 2-0 in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 and took an important step towards qualifying for the quarter-finals. But the next day came news that shocked fans: Kylian Mbappé had a meeting with the club's owner, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, in which he told him of his decision to leave as a free agent after the end of the season.

This caused all kinds of rumors and almost no other topic was discussed in newspapers, TV shows and social media. But while all this was going on, PSG had to face a new match: on matchday 22 of Ligue 1 they visited Nantes at La Beaujoire-Louis-Fonteneau stadium. And there, coach Luis Enrique made a surprising decision and left Mbappé out of the starting lineup.

The team's attack consisted of Marco Asensio, Kang-In Lee, Randal Kolo Muani and Bradley Barcola, while other stars such as Goncalo Ramos and Ousmane Dembélé were left on the bench in addition to Kylian. The coach's plan finally worked to perfection, as they won and during the second half 'Kiki' came on and scored one of the goals.

In the post-match press conference, Luis Enrique explained the reasons for his decision: "After a complicated game like the Champions League, we tried to change the team. I think it was very important to give minutes to players who had not been involved. It's good that all the players are involved".

I don't think so.
