Real Madrid fans are very happy with their player Jude Bellingham after an impressive debut season. Bellingham won the Champions League, the La Liga title, and the Spanish Super Cup in his first season with Real Madrid and is one of the favorites to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or award. The English midfielder is exceptional, but he has not been as effective with the English national team so far in EURO 2024. Despite a great start to the tournament after scoring a goal in England's 1-0 win against Serbia, Bellingham did not have a good game in England's 1-1 draw against Denmark. The Real Madrid star struggled to showcase his performance from the game against Serbia, let alone the performances with Real Madrid. Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand spoke about the performance and mentioned Bellingham in his analysis of the game. Ferdinand was not satisfied with the performance and recommended Bellingham to play in a different position. Ferdinand said, "Bellingham, Foden, and a lot of other players aren’t playing in their usual positions and can’t perform at the levels they did with their clubs. It would be better for Bellingham to play as an 8."
Bellingham struggled against Denmark as he created one chance; he had two touches in the opposition box, had two passes into the final third, and lost ten duels. He played the entire game against Denmark.
England took the lead in the 18th minute as Harry Kane scored in the box and grabbed his first goal of the tournament. Denmark equalized in the 34th minute after a great long shot from Morten Hjulmand outside the box that went past Jordan Pickford.
After two games in the EUROS, England are still top of Group C with four points. England defeated Serbia 1-0, and they just drew 1-1 against Denmark. Their next game in the group stage will be against Slovenia, who are third in the group with two points. They drew 1-1 against Denmark, and they drew 1-1 today against Serbia. England need a draw or a win to advance to the knockout stage.
