Barcelona have only one possible title this season, and it is the most difficult of all: the Champions League. In the Spanish Super Cup they lost the final against Real Madrid, in the Copa del Rey they were eliminated in the quarterfinals by Athletic Bilbao and in La Liga they are too far away from the top of the standings, making it almost impossible for them to compete for the title this season.

With this scenario, Los Blaugranas' success depends on a miracle. The team's performances have been far from expectations and, when they have faced top level rivals such as Real Madrid, they have had many problems. That is why it seems difficult for them to keep up with not only Los Merengues, but other European giants such as Manchester City, Arsenal, Inter and Paris Saint-Germain.
Nevertheless, they will do their best to compete in the tournament and go as far as they can. The first challenge will be this Wednesday, when they face Napoli for the first leg of the round of 16 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. Their opponents are the last Serie A champions, but they changed coaches and this season have struggled to repeat last year's performances.
The good news for Barcelona is that they will probably be able to count on one of the stars of the squad who has been absent in recent weeks: Joao Felix. The Portuguese forward missed several La Liga matches due to an ankle injury and the team suffered, as they lacked his talent, dribbling, goals and assists. But according to Sport newspaper, he is now feeling much better and, if things go well during training this Monday, he will be part of the list of players called up to travel to Italy.

Joao Felix was not the only forward injured in Barcelona. Other stars like Raphinha and Ferran Torres were also absent due to physical problems and that affected the team's performance. The Spanish winger and the Brazilian will not recover in time for Wednesday and that is why Joao's return will be key for Xavi Hernandez. The coach knows he must be careful with him and will probably use him as a substitute during the second half.
