This Sunday the Spanish National Team will play its last match in 2023. It will be in Group A of the qualifiers for Euro 2024, against Georgia at the Jose Zorrila stadium in Valladolid. They have already secured their place in the continent's most important tournament, to be held next summer in Germany, but they need a win to stay at the top of the standings.

Scotland are in second place and, although they have also already qualified for Euro 2024, their goal is to beat Norway to try to overtake Spain in the standings. And they will have a huge advantage: their rivals lost their main star, Erling Haaland. The Manchester City striker suffered a left ankle injury and will not be part of the XI.

That is why the Spaniards do not want to relax. Coach Luis De La Fuente decided that many of the squad's stars will be part of the starting lineup this Sunday against Georgia. Moreover, it will be an ideal opportunity for the fans to enjoy the talent of the Spanish players for the last time this year.

The starting lineup of the Spanish National Team will be: Unai Simon; Dani Carvajal, Robin Le Normand, Inigo Martinez, Jose Gaya; Gavi, Rodri, Fabian Ruiz; Ferran Torres, Alvaro Morata, Nico Williams. In addition, the substitutes will be Alex Remiro, David Raya, David Garcia, Jesus Navas, Alex Grimaldo, Aleix Garcia, Mikel Merino, Martin Zubimendi, Rodrigo Riquelme, Oihan Sancet, Joselu and Lamine Yamal.

They no longer have goals

Georgia had an acceptable performance in group A of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. They won 2 games, drew 2 and lost 3, so they are only 2 points behind Norway, a team that has much more talented players than them. Although they no longer have a chance to qualify, this Sunday they will try to surprise Spain and take the three points. Coach William Sagnol chose this XI: Giorgi Mamardashvili, Otar Kakabadze, Solomon Kverkvelia, Guram Kashia, Luka Lochoshvili, Irakli Azarovi; Giorgi Chakvetadze, Nika Kvekveskiri, Giorgi Kochorashvili, Georges Mikautadze, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
