Inter Miami played their last game at DRV PNK Stadium this year on Wednesday night. There they tied 2-2 against Charlotte FC, in an interesting match in which the visitors scored the opener through Enzo Copetti, then the hosts netted the equaliser thanks to Nicolas Stefanelli. In the second half again the North Carolina team got the advantage thanks to Kerwin Vargas' goal and in the last minutes Robbie Robinson scored the 2-2.

After the game, Inter Miami coach Gerardo Martino gave a press conference in which he analyzed the team's performance. But he was also asked about other issues, especially those related to the future, since this season is coming to an end and they must start planning what they will do next year.

Since Lionel Messi arrived at the club, the media and social networks have been flooded with rumors about the possible signing of Luis Suárez. The Uruguayan striker is one of Leo's best friends and together they formed a fearsome attacking duo at Barcelona. A short time ago it was confirmed that Luis will not continue in Gremio of Brazil after this year, so it is speculated that he will arrive in Miami.

Regarding this, Gerardo Martino said: "I still have no certainty about Luis, but we can imagine different scenarios if he comes or not. I presume that he also needs to finish the Brasileirao, which is a very competitive and exhausting tournament, with 10 games to go".

Another Barcelona star?

If Luis Suarez joins Inter Miami, he would be the fourth former Barcelona player to join The Herons. Lionel Messi was the one who started it all, then Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba decided to join him. And also coach Gerardo Martino, who managed them all between 2013 and 2014.
