While Liverpool's performance this season has been very good, in recent games they have struggled. Last weekend they barely managed a 1-1 draw against Luton Town thanks to a stoppage time goal from Luis Diaz. And this Wednesday they again had a disappointing performance against Toulouse FC.

The Reds had the chance to get a win in France and get closer to the goal of qualifying for the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League. But things did not go well for them and their opponents crushed them.

After 36 minutes of the first half, Aron Donnum stole the ball from Konstantinos Tsimikas, entered the box and shot with his left foot. The ball deflected off Jarell Quansah and made it impossible for goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher to react. With that advantage, the hosts were able to play more calmly and the pressure was on the English side, who could not find a way to create dangerous situations.

In the second half it was even more difficult for them. Toulouse FC proved to be a solid team defensively and with talented players in midfield and attack. And after 13 minutes they scored the second goal: Luis Diaz lost the ball Donnum sent a floated cross to the box that Thijs Dallinga received, turned and shot with his right foot with great precision.

They are furious

After Toulouse FC's second goal, the TV cameras showed the reaction of some Liverpool players, who were very frustrated. But then something unexpected happened: when they showed Jurgen Klopp, he was smiling. This caused anger among many fans. One of them wrote: "I hate Klopp. Why is he smiling?". While others wrote: "Klopp is the problem", “Klopp has to be questioned here… awful game management and awful club management” and "Klopp chose a training session squad".
