Arsenal has received the green light from Kai Havertz to sign him from Chelsea this summer, after the London club made contact with the German player in recent days, and things didn't materialize with Real Madrid as the player would have liked.

According to El Atlético's report on Wednesday, Arsenal has shown a keen interest in Havertz and has intensified their pursuit of the talented midfielder in recent days, making contact with both Chelsea and the player to finalize the negotiations.

Now, Fabrizio Romano reports that Havertz has given his approval for the move and desires to move to North London. Personal terms will not be an obstacle, so it now remains for both clubs to reach an agreement and finalize the transfer.

Chelsea is looking to secure around 75 million EUR for the 24-year-old player, although they would be willing to be flexible as they know Arsenal wouldn't reach their current valuation and they might miss out on generating income with the player.

Highly sought after

Havertz was one of Europe's most sought-after stars before his move to Chelsea in 2020, but since then, he has failed to live up to expectations at Stamford Bridge. While Bayern Munich has also shown interest in the German international, so far, only Arsenal has taken concrete steps.
