Last Sunday Paris Saint-Germain got an important 4-0 victory against Olympique Marseille, their historical rivals in France. The goals were scored by Achraf Hakimi, Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos, twice. This allowed them to move up several places in the Ligue 1 standings and they are now third, just two points behind leaders Brest.

However, it was not all good news. After 31 minutes of the first half, Kylian Mbappé had to be replaced due to severe pain in his left ankle after a foul by Argentine defender Leonardo Balerdi. The striker tried to continue playing, but it was not possible. He was replaced by Goncalo Ramos. This caused concern among French fans, who feared that the star of the team could have a serious injury.

Luis Enrique gave a press conference and, when asked about this situation, said: "Kylian was in quite a bit of pain". But then the coach was calm and gave an optimistic message about him: "It doesn't seem to be anything serious. I think he'll be available soon. It was the right decision to bring him off."

This means that Mbappé will probably be available for PSG's next matches. The manager may decide to take care of him and not call him up to play on Saturday, September 30 against Clermont, the bottom of the standings. This way, he will have more time to recover and be fit for the second Champions League group F match against Newcastle on Wednesday, October 4 in England.

They showed up when the team needed them

With Mbappé absent for most of the match against Olympique Marseille, Luis Enrique found solutions in other strikers in the squad. Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos arrived this summer at PSG and scored their first goals for the club on Sunday.
