What happened to Lewandowski? Barça fear he won't be able to play vs Real Madrid

This Thursday Barcelona posted a statement explaining what happened to the Polish striker: "Tests carried out this morning have confirmed that first team player Robert Lewandowski has a sprained left ankle. He is out and his evolution will mark his availability."

Although the Catalan club's announcement does not establish a deadline for the striker's return, it is a fact that he will not be able to play this Sunday's match against Granada. Then comes the international break, in which Robert will probably not be able to join the Polish national team. Then Barcelona will face Athletic Bilbao on Sunday October 22 for La Liga and Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League three days later.

The big concern in Barcelona now is whether Robert Lewandowski will be able to recover from his sprained ankle before 'El Clasico'.
