Manchester City seem to be unstoppable at the start of the Premier League 2023/24. They have won all 5 games they played, proving to be the best team in England and thrilling the fans to win once again the league title, for the fourth time in a row, something that nobody achieved so far.

This Saturday they had a difficult match against West Ham United, who had started the season very well and could take the first place in the standings away from The Citizens. After 36 minutes of the first half they scored the opener through James Ward-Prowse, one of their biggest stars, who received a great cross from the right by Jarred Bowen and netted with a header.

Pep Guardiola's team had their chances to score, especially when Jeremy Doku took the ball, but went into the break trailing 1-0. The coach surely gave them tips during those 15 minutes, as at the start of the second half they scored the equaliser when Julian Alvarez set up Doku, who finished brilliantly with his right foot.

After 30 minutes, Alvarez again provided an assist, this time to Bernardo Silva, to score the visitors' second goal. And with only 2 minutes left on the whistle, Erling Haaland had his moment and netted the Citizens' third goal after receiving an assist from Bernardo Silva.

No one can stop them

Manchester City have won their first 5 games in the Premier League 2023/24 and are the sole leaders of the standings with 15 points. They are two points ahead of Liverpool and Tottenham, who are in second place. They can also be joined by Arsenal if they win their game against Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
