(VIDEO) Sergio Ramos mocked for the absurd mistake he made against Barcelona

This Friday Barcelona got a great 1-0 win against Sevilla at the Olympic Stadium Lluis Companys in Montjuic. The three points allowed them to once again become the sole leaders in the La Liga standings, overtaking Girona and Real Madrid who will face each other this Saturday at the Estadio Montilivi.

But it was not an easy match for Los Blaugranas, as Sevilla proved to be a solid team and for most of the 90 minutes they lived up to expectations. In fact, in the first half they came closer to scoring the opener than the hosts: Lucas Ocampos had a chance, with a shot that Gavi saved with his torso inside the box, and minutes later Dodi Lukebakio shot with his left foot and Marc-André Ter Stegen saved it.

Barcelona had had a chance with Joao Felix, but his shot hit the crossbar. In the second half they improved their performance and were better than their rivals. Robert Lewandowski could have scored, but goalkeeper Orjan Nyland deflected the ball away.

With only 15 minutes left on the clock whistle came the most important moment of the match: Ferrán Torres sent a floated cross to Lamine Yamal, the Spanish winger tried to give a pass with his head to Lewandowski, but Sergio Ramos got in the way. However, the defender couldn't prevent the ball from bouncing off his foot and into his own net, with goalkeeper Nyland unable to save it.

He was mocked

Sergio Ramos has been a Real Madrid star for years and for that reason Barcelona fans are not fond of him. After scoring the own goal, on social media many mocked him with messages such as: "Thank you very much, Ramos"; "Ramos scored in his own goal because they didn't explain to him that after the break you change the field"; "Sergio Ramos is Culé and wants to help us in the fight against Real Madrid".
