When the Champions League group draw was made, specialists agreed that the most even and difficult group was F. There were the French champion (Paris Saint-Germain), the German runner-up (Borussia Dortmund), a giant from Italy (AC Milan) and one of the best teams in England during the last season (Newcastle). And they were right.

Over the course of the first five matches, the four teams had wins, draws and defeats that week by week changed their situation in the group and made the outcome uncertain. It was only in the fifth match that Borussia Dortmund secured their place in the Champions League round of 16 after beating AC Milan 3-1 in Italy to reach 10 points.

But nothing else is decided yet. PSG are currently in second place with 7 points, but need to win in Germany to secure their place in the next round. If they don't, they could be eliminated and go to the UEFA Europa League, depending on what happens in England between Newcastle and AC Milan.

For this match, coach Luis Enrique chose this starting lineup: Gianluigi Donnarumma; Achraf Hakimi, Milan Skriniar, Marquinhos, Lucas Hernandez; Kang-In Lee, Warren Zaire-Emery, Vitinha; Bradley Barcola, Randal Kolo Muani, Kylian Mbappé. In addition, the substitutes will be Arnau Tenas, Alexandre Letellier, Nordi Mukiele, Carlos Soler, Manuel Ugarte, Danilo Pereira and Marco Asensio.

They can't relax

Although Borussia Dortmund have already secured their place in the last 16 of the Champions League, they still do not know whether they will be first or second in the group. This will then determine the difficulty of the opponent they will face in the next phase, so they must do their best to get at least a draw this Wednesday. Coach Edin Terzic chose this starting lineup: Gregor Kobel; Marius Wolf, Niklas Sule, Mats Hummels, Ramy Bensebaini; Julian Brandt, Salih Ozcan, Marco Reus; Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Niclas Fullkrug, Karim Adeyemi.
