Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most respected and admired actors in the world. For over 30 years he has shined in successful films such as 'Titanic', 'Gangs of New York', 'Shutter Island', 'Inception' and 'The Wolf of Wall Street', and has even won an Oscar for best actor for his brilliant performance in 'The Revenant', in 2015, after many nominations.

His most recent work is the film 'Killers of the Flower Moon', directed by the legendary Martin Scorsese and released just a few months ago in theaters around the world. In an interview with his co-star Lily Gladstone, DiCaprio confessed to not being very interested in soccer and made a comment that shocked (and angered) many soccer fans in England.

There, he was assured that Premier League players were better compared to NBA stars. This caused the actor's surprise, who responded, "Better than Michael Jordan? The greatest basketball player ever!" But that wasn't all. He then went further and asked, "What's Arsenal?", referring to one of England's top teams.

This upset the club's fans and some stars as well. Former Gunners player Mesut Ozil, world champion with the German national team in Brazil 2014, responded to Leonardo DiCaprio with a witty (and harsh) comment on his official Twitter account. He quoted a post with the actor's words and wrote: "Arsenal Football Club is older than 25 years ... so why should he know?"

What did he mean?

Mesut Ozil wrote that comment referring to the criticism many make of Leonardo DiCaprio for preferring to date women much younger than him. A running joke about this is that Leo never dates girls over 25. And his relationships with actresses Camila Morrone and Madalina Ghenea and models Toni Garrn and Erin Heatherton are examples of this. So maybe Ozil was right about it.
