Real Madrid is probably the most powerful club in the world. This is demonstrated by the titles they have won throughout history, being the team with the most Champions League titles (14), doubling the second, Milan (7). Los Merengues also stand out for the impressive signings they have made, always targeting the world's top stars to raise the team's level.

It is therefore not surprising that many great footballers, despite playing for other top clubs and competing in the major leagues, have the desire to join Real Madrid in order to feel completely satisfied with their careers. What is unusual is that they express this desire while still tied to another club.

That is what apparently happened with Alphonso Davies. The left back plays for Bayern Munich, who want to renew the player's contract, but according to Mundo Deportivo, the Canadian is delaying the decision while waiting for an offer from Los Merengues. The German media Bild assures that Davies' agent has already communicated with Real Madrid to make them aware of the player's desire.

Obviously, the situation is not to the liking of the German club, which wants to ensure the continuity of one of its best players to compete for the Champions League 2023/24 and the Bundesliga.

Florentino Perez's idea

The president of Real Madrid is already aware of the situation of Alphonso Davies, but he might have the idea to first resolve other signings and then deal with the Canadian. It is known that Florentino's obsession is to sign Kylian Mbappé, who has already announced that he will not renew his contract with PSG next year and could change clubs this summer.
