Scandal at PSG: boss Luis Enrique sent a "spy" to keep an eye on players

It was a strange week at Paris Saint-Germain. They achieved the first objective of the 2023/24 season: to qualify for the round of 16 of the Champions League. According to L'Equipe, Luis Enrique went even further and entrusted a club employee with an absurd mission: to keep an eye on the main night clubs in Paris to find out if the squad's players go out partying at night. And he also tried to monitor the use of social media by the players and their family and friends, to prevent that from interfering with training and the team's performance during the season.

Despite these unusual decisions, Luis Enrique's first few months at Paris Saint-Germain have been positive. The team achieved its first objective, which was to qualify for the round of 16 of the Champions League, while in Ligue 1 they are the sole leaders of the standings with 36 points, 4 more than Nice.
