For years there has been talk of Kylian Mbappé's arrival at Real Madrid. The French striker is one of the biggest stars of world soccer and therefore it is logical that there are rumors about his future. And it has not been just rumors or speculation in the media and social media. In 2022 'Kiki' was very close to leaving for the Spanish side. At that time he had an agreement to join Los Merengues and they were waiting for him there, but at the last minute he changed his mind and decided to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2024.

This summer again the striker was in the news because in June he revealed that he did not intend to stay with the French side after the end of the 2023/24 season. This caused Nasser Al-Khelaifi to punish him by preventing him from training with the squad for several weeks as a way of pressuring him to change his mind, but they eventually resolved their differences and he joined the team at the start of the Ligue 1 season.

However, his situation has not changed: on June 30, 2024, he will become a free agent and can join any club that wishes to sign him, without having to pay PSG a cent. In fact, since January he can freely negotiate with other teams, as it is allowed by FIFA rules.

With this scenario, Real Madrid fans are eager to see Kylian in the white jersey at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. And every chance they get, they express it to the club's president.

What did he say?

This week on social media was posted a video in which Florentino Perez is leaving a restaurant and some fans stop him to take pictures with him. One of them tells him: "Presi, sign Mbappé now". And Florentino's ironic response was: "I've never heard that before", obviously meaning that he usually gets that request.
