One of the most important matches of the Champions League group stage will be played this Tuesday. Group E is the most even and difficult of the tournament, as the four teams that are there have proven to live up to expectations. The leaders of the standings for now are Borussia Dortmund with 7 points, Paris Saint-Germain have 6, AC Milan 5 and Newcastle 4. But there are still two games left and anything can happen.
The French side will face The Magpies at the Parc des Princes, looking for a victory that will bring them closer to the Round of 16. In fact, they could do so this Tuesday, depending on what happens in the match between AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.
But it won't be an easy task. Newcastle proved to be a tough opponent and in the last match between the two, at St. James' Park, they beat PSG with a resounding 4-1. At that time Kylian Mbappé and coach Luis Enrique were harshly criticized by the press and the fans, so now they will have the opportunity to leave that behind and to make things right.
The Spanish manager decided that the starting lineup will be: Gianluigi Donnarumma; Achraf Hakimi, Milan Skriniar, Danilo Pereira, Lucas Hernandez; Fabian Ruiz, Manuel Ugarte, Kang-In Lee; Ousmane Dembélé, Randal Kolo Muani, Kylian Mbappé. In addition, the substitutes will be Arnau Tenas, Alexandre Letellier, Nordi Mukiele, Carlos Soler, Vitinha, Marco Asensio, Goncalo Ramos and Bradley Barcola.
For Newcastle it is also a crucial match. They are at the bottom of the standings and, should they fail to win in Paris, they could be eliminated. That's why coach Eddie Howe decided to have all the stars of the squad on the field. The starting lineup will be: Nick Pope; Kieran Trippier, Jamaal Lascelles, Fabian Schar, Valentino Livramento; Lewis Miley, Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton; Miguel Almiron, Alexander Isak, Anthony Gordon.
