The German midfielder arrived in Spain after excelling for years with Bayern Munich and the German national team. In fact, his signing with Real Madrid was just a few weeks after they were World Cup champions in Brazil 2014.

And his success continued with Los Merengues. In almost a decade he has played 436 games there, with 28 goals and 96 assists. In addition, he has won 20 titles, including four Champions League titles. During his years in Madrid he was teammate of excellent players, such as Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric and Jude Bellingham. However, his favorite is not any of them.

In an interview with Real Madrid TV, Toni was asked about the best player he played with in his professional career. After thinking about it for a few seconds, he did not hesitate and answered: Cristiano Ronaldo. It was an obvious answer, since the Portuguese striker is one of the best players of his generation and of all time, and shone on the Spanish side for many years.

Then Toni Kroos also chose his best friend in soccer: Miroslav Klose. He was his teammate in the German National Team and together they won the 2014 World Cup. The Real Madrid midfielder assured that Klose helped him a lot when he was young and starting his career.
