The Spanish coach made a decision that did not please Kylian.

On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League after a 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park. The French side had a difficult mission in Germany, as if they did not win they could be out of the tournament depending on what happened in the match between Newcastle and AC Milan at St. James' Park.

For a few minutes in the second half, PSG were trailing in third place in the group, when they were losing to Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle were winning in England. However, in just a few moments that changed completely. Warren Zaire-Emery netted the equaliser, while AC Milan completed the comeback and won 2-1.

With the peace of mind of knowing that their qualification to the round of 16 was no longer at risk, Luis Enrique instructed his players during the final minutes of the match in Germany to slow down the pace and play safe passes, without taking too many risks. The PSG coach considered the draw to be a good enough result, although Mbappé apparently disagreed with him.

According to RMC Sport, Kylian was very angry during the last minutes of the match, seeing the attitude of his teammates. He made gestures with his arms and even crossed paths with Luis Enrique, with whom he exchanged a few words and then looked at him seriously.

What did 'Kiki' want?

Undoubtedly the intention of Kylian Mbappé was that PSG continue attacking to try to win the match. In that case, the French side would become the leaders of Group F, which would allow them to avoid the strongest opponents in the round of 16. This makes sense considering that in the last two seasons they finished in second place and then failed to advance to the quarterfinals by losing to tough opponents like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
