Liverpool got off to a perfect start in the UEFA Europa League. They won their first three games and lead Group E with 9 points. They are 4 points ahead of Royale Union Saint-Gilloise and Toulouse FC, so a win in Wednesday's match will bring them closer to the goal of qualifying for the round of 16.

Unlike the Champions League, in this tournament only the top team in each group will advance directly to the round of 16. The second-placed team will have to play a preliminary round against the third-placed clubs in each Champions League group. That is why it is very important for The Reds to be leaders of the standings, to avoid that extra phase.

Aiming for a victory this Thursday at the Stadium de Toulouse, Jurgen Klopp decided to put together a starting lineup with several of the squad's stars, such as Alexis MacAllister, Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz, the hero in the 1-1 draw against Luton Town.

Liverpool's XI will be: Caoimhin Kelleher; Joseph Gomez, Joel Matip, Jarell Quansah, Konstantinos Tsimikas; Harvey Elliott, Wataru Endo, Alexis MacAllister; Ben Doak, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz. In addition, substitutes will be Alisson, Fabian Mrozek, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Luke Chambers, Callum Scanlon, Dominik Szoboszlai, James McConnell, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Kaide Gordon.

They also need to win

Toulouse FC have won one match in Group E, against 1-0 LASK in France, and drew 1-1 vs Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. In addition, they lost 5-1 against Liverpool a couple of weeks ago at Anfield Road. They know it will be difficult to compete with the English side, but they will do their best to at least get a draw that will allow them to dream of qualifying to the next round. Coach Carles Martinez chose this XI: Guillaume Restes; Mikkel Desler, Logan COsta, Rasmus Nicolaisen, Moussa Diarra, Gabriel Suazo; Niklas Schmidt, Vincent Sierro, Cristian Casseres; Aron Donnum, Thijs Dallinga.
