There are still two months to go before the next transfer window in Europe opens in January. And the most important one will only be next summer, as clubs usually buy and sell a lot more at the end of each season, and reserve only a few transfers for the winter. However, nobody wants to lose time and that is why they are making moves to start negotiating with the players they want to sign in the future.

That is Liverpool's plan for example. The Reds know that in 2024 they could suffer the departure of one of their main stars, Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian winger is the obsession of Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia, who last summer offered a fortune for him and could not get him out of England. But in the near future they will try again.

With this scenario, Jurgen Klopp is analyzing alternatives. Rumors indicate that one of the chosen ones to replace 'Mo' is Leroy Sané, who is shining at Bayern Munich. But he is not the only one targeted. According to SunSport, this month Liverpool sent scouts to Italy to look at Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian striker was Napoli's big star during the 2022/23 season, scoring 26 goals in 39 games between Serie A and Champions League, and being key to his team winning the Italian league title after more than 30 years. The problem is that Victor is not happy there, as he has had problems with president Aurelio De Laurentiis: the parties have not yet been able to agree on the renewal of the contract that expires on June 30, 2025. The player wants his salary to be increased from $4.7 million to $9.4 million per year.

How much is he worth?

In addition to Liverpool, other Premier League clubs are interested in Victor Osimhen, such as Chelsea and Arsenal. But they will not have an easy task if they want to sign him: his exit clause from Napoli is more than $200 million.
