This Monday Deschamps gave a press conference in which he answered questions from journalists. He spoke about the French national team, their upcoming opponents and some players in particular, including 'Kiki'. About him he said: "He is not in a period of efficiency as he usually is. With everything he's had during this summer, he's entitled to have, in this infernal rhythm of games, a period where he's a little less well or less effective."
