The last game on Sunday in Spain will be between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. It is undoubtedly one of the most interesting games of the weekend, as both teams have top-level stars and year after year they prepare to compete for the title in the main tournaments in Spain and Europe.

Los Blaugranas and Los Colchoneros share third place in the La Liga standings. So far they have 31 points, although the Madrilenians have the advantage of having played a game less, since their match against Sevilla was postponed. They are 7 points behind leaders Real Madrid and Girona, so both teams need to win to get closer to the top of the tournament.

Being the hosts and because of the criticism they have received lately for their disappointing performances, Barcelona will be under the most pressure this Sunday. They need to raise their level and prove that they are ready to compete with the best teams in Europe. That is why coach Xavi Hernandez decided to include in the starting lineup most of the stars of the squad.

The XI of Los Culés will be: Iñaki Peña; Ronald Araujo, Jules Koundé, Iñigo Martinez, Joao Cancelo; Frenkie De Jong, Ilkay Gundogan, Pedri; Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski, Joao Felix. Substitutes will be Diego Kochen, Ander Astralaga, Andreas Christensen, Alex Balde, Sergi Roberto, Fermin Lopez, Oriol Romeu, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal.

What will they do?

Atletico Madrid, since Diego Simeone is the manager, are characterized by a style of play that prioritizes defensive solidity and creates opportunities to score mainly by taking advantage of the speed of their forwards in each counterattack. Considering this, it is possible that they will give the lead to Barcelona. The coach chose this starting lineup: Jan Oblak; Axel Witsel, Jose Gimenez, Mario Hermoso; Nahuel Molina, Marcos Llorente, Rodrigo De Paul, Rodrigo Riquelme, Koke; Antoine Griezmann, Alvaro Morata.
