Arsenal have a clear objective: to be Premier League champions. They have not achieved it for two decades and in the previous season they were very close, as they led the standings for many months. But near the end they had a drop in their performances and Manchester City overtook them.

Now they have taken revenge. The Citizens were at the top of the tournament until a few days ago, when they drew 1-1 with Liverpool. This was taken advantage of by the Gunners, who won their match against Brentford and became the new leaders of England. And they held on last weekend thanks to a 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton.

This Tuesday they will have a new challenge: they will visit Luton Town at Kenilworth Road aiming to take the three points and increase the gap with their rivals. Manchester City will play Aston Villa on Wednesday, while Liverpool will face Sheffield United.

Coach Mikel Arteta will not rest the team's main stars. That's why most of those who played against Wolves on Saturday will play again against Luton Town. Arsenal's starting lineup will be: David Raya; Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Jakub Kiwior; Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice, Kai Havertz; Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli. Also on the bench will be Aaron Ramsdale, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Reuell Walters, Cedric Soares, Mohamed Elneny, Jorghinho, Leandro Trossard, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah.

For them it is a tough challenge

Luton Town are one of the newly-promoted Premier League teams. So far they have had a decent performance in the tournament: with two wins, three draws and nine defeats they have 9 points and are out of the relegation zone. But that could change at any moment, as they are only two points ahead of Everton and Burnley. This Tuesday they will try to surprise Arsenal and get at least a draw, as they did against Liverpool a few weeks ago. Coach Rob Edwards chose this XI: Thomas Kaminski; Teden Mengi, Gabriel Osho, Amarii Bell, Issa Kabore, Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu, Ross Barkley, Alfie Doughty; Elijah Adebayo, Andros Townsend.
