Real Madrid had a golden era between 2014 and 2022. During those eight years they became absolute dominators of Europe, as they won 5 Champions League titles. The first of them was in 2014, with Carlo Ancelotti as coach. He himself led Los Merengues to the title in 2022. And in between Zinedine Zidane was the manager at the 2016, 2017 and 2018 celebrations.

However, time goes by and there are fewer and fewer players left in the squad of those who won those titles. Some, like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, have been around for a long time. But other stars have left, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.

Sergio Ramos is also gone. In 2021 he left Real Madrid amid a conflict with Florentino Perez over the renewal of his contract and agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain. And this summer, after becoming a free agent, he returned to his first club, Sevilla.

But Real Madrid fans do not forget the 15 years in which Ramos was a star of the club and the Spanish national team. That's why, even today, while he plays for another club, they still wait for him at the exit of every training session to ask for photos and autographs. However, this week he was the protagonist of a curious situation. In social media was posted a video in which he is signing shirts of different fans and you can see how he signs one of Sevilla, then he is approached with one of Real Madrid that he puts aside without signing and continues with a PSG. This caused criticism from many fans of the Madrid side, who considered that the defender had had a reprehensible attitude.

What did he say?

Sergio Ramos seems not to have liked the criticism and therefore wrote a message on his official X account, in which he clarified the situation: "Before that moment I had already signed about 6 Real Madrid shirts. And then it's people who auction them or sell them on the Internet..."
