Juventus continues to work on shaping its squad for the 2023/24 season and now has its sights set on footballer Marcos Acuña. With the exclusion from the Champions League due to the imposed sanction, the Italian club needs to balance its finances and seek new additions.
The absence in the upcoming edition of the premier competition is a tough economic blow, so Juventus is considering the sale of several key players. Names like Kulusevski and Dusan Vlahovic have emerged as possible departures, as they could generate significant income.
As for arrivals, Juventus is looking to strengthen the right-back position, and previously mentioned names like Lucas Vázquez and Álvaro Odriozola from Real Madrid had been mentioned. However, interest in Marcos Acuña, a player from Sevilla and a World Cup champion with Argentina, has now emerged.
With uncertainties surrounding the future of Alex Sandro, Acuña presents himself as an option on the left side. The 31-year-old player had a good season with the Andalusian team, scoring 3 goals and providing 4 assists in 45 official matches.
According to reports from CalcioMercato, the cost that Juventus would have to cover to acquire Marcos Acuña is estimated to be around 7 to 8 million EUR, an amount that seems affordable for Juventus in their current situation.
