2023 has been a lousy year for Neymar. In February he underwent surgery for a serious ankle injury and missed the most important months of Ligue 1 and Champions League. Then, when he was already recovered and ready to start the 2023/24 season, the Paris Saint-Germain chiefs decided to remove him from the squad and negotiate his departure.

After a few weeks of negotiations, he arrived at Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia in exchange for a fortune: almost $100 million for the French side and a salary of $109 million for two seasons. But there he could barely play a few games due to physical problems, the birth of his daughter and two international breaks. And finally came the worst news: he suffered a serious knee injury that will keep him off the field for 8 months.

While all this is happening, the Instagram account Futeousadia posted a message titled "The Truth about Neymar's departure" in which he assured: "PSG's initial idea was to keep Neymar, but after the club carried out pre-season tests, it was revealed that Neymar was suffering from physical problems. When he heard this, Luis Enrique initially informed that Neymar would not have a starting place in the team, and showed concern about Ney's problem".

And then he continues: "A few days later, the coach decided to let Neymar go to another club. Neymar was already wanting to leave because of the episodes involving the fans."

He is tired

In response to this, Ney also posted a message on Instagram and said, "The night goes by, the day goes by and things don't change.... There are accounts like this, who are not part of the player's day to day life and don't know what's really going on, but post as if they were the person in question. Every day there are more and more humans who are lost to the 'hype'. I still believe in a future without fake news".
