Barcelona's first signing of 2024 will be Vitor Roque. The 18-year-old striker shone at Athletico Paranaense this year, with 21 goals in 44 games, and that caught the attention of the Catalan side, who months ago agreed to sign him in exchange for a fortune: they will first pay an amount in excess of $32 million and then, if certain objectives are met, almost $33 million more in bonuses.

Vitor Roque will arrive in Spain this Wednesday, January 27 and will join the squad's training sessions from Friday, January 29. That is why he is already preparing to move from Brazil and his wife Dayana shared on social media images of the suitcases, along with a message that read "chaos". In addition, Los Blaugranas also shared on social media a video of the striker wearing the club's jersey for the first time and kissing the shield.

He will compete for a place in the team

While Barcelona need a striker, it is not certain that Vitor Roque will be part of the starting lineup this season. He plays as a centre-forward and in that position is Robert Lewandowski, one of the stars of the squad.
