Barcelona wants this player

Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has attracted the interest of several European clubs following his standout performance in the Champions League final. The Croatian became one of the pillars of the Italian team, showcasing his ability to combine and play football. Now, Barcelona has set their sights on him as a potential reinforcement.

According to reports from the newspaper MARCA, Brozovic features on Xavi Hernandez's list of targets to replace Sergio Busquets in the midfield. The legendary Spanish midfielder has decided to end his tenure at Barcelona, leaving a void in the holding midfield position.

The 30-year-old player would be open to a change of scenery this summer and has garnered interest from both La Liga and the Premier League. Teams like Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea have also shown interest in adding him to their ranks.

It's worth noting that Barcelona has other names on their list of possible replacements for Busquets, such as Martin Zubimendi, Rúben Neves, Amrabat, or Kimmich. However, most of them come with a higher price tag of over 60 million EUR. According to MARCA, Inter has valued Brozovic at 45 million EUR, a figure that Barcelona could consider affordable.

While the Barcelona club decides whether to pursue Brozovic, there has been speculation about the possibility of a swap between the two clubs. It is no secret that Inter Milan is interested in signing Franck Kessié, whose value at Barcelona is estimated at around 30 million EUR. The Catalan side could propose this option, although they are aware that they will face strong competition for the player.
